when all that I am goes away:
incomprehensible jokes, words sprouted just to convince myself,
ways of acting, of believing, ways of seeming,
presence I choose to give to those I deem worthy of my time,
my limited capacity to give affection to just a few selected beings,
my human flesh, my tailored wired brain,
my bones, my skull, my ginger hair…
I realise that I remain just what I am.
SMALL– small enough to fit into myself.
HUGE– huge enough to contain me.
