There’s something in winter, that reminds me of you…

Winter is white,
just as your skin is;
And it’s cold,
just like your touch;
And every time it comes
I freeze,
just like I do
when you are in my sight.

  1. I could just be interpreting this wrong, but is sure sounds like a woman and not frozen chairs. 🙂 When reading this, a person can eye this multiple ways. I think this quite clever.

  2. I loved it either way….because for me, as I read it, I interpreted it as someone loving somebody that doesn’t love them back. For example when the attraction is so intense it makes you freeze when you see that person and their touch may feel cold because there are no feelings coming from that person. That’s how I imagine this poem, or
    maybe I’m just in love with love itself 🙂
