On the other side of the road,
I see trees!
They stare at me, weeping tears of pain
They look at me,
Blaming me for the lose of their friends,
And pointing their roots, at me!
Making me wonder, who is to blame
For their lose, if not me?
On the other side of the road, houses!
Lined one after another
As though, they’re running from me.
Waving at me, wishing me luck
But not willing to join me.
Just cheering at my back
As it gets smaller with my every step;
Houses, how pointless they are,
How pointless I am!
Under my feet, dust!
Rocks, dust, and dried sweat
From open hearts.
Swirling around me and opening paths;
Moving as I move
And dancing with my pulsating blood,
Yet, still afraid to be touched,
To be stepped on.
Dust, stay around, cause yours,
Soon, I will become!
